I offer individual psychotherapy. Generally, we meet weekly, but that is dependent on a number of factors such as the pace and intensity at which you want to work, your level of symptoms or suffering (if that is a driving factor in seeking out therapy), and mutual availability. We will decide the frequency together.
ALL TOPICS AND THEMES ARE OF COURSE WELCOME! Sometimes we are seeking out therapy because something in our life feels broken or missing. We may be having symptoms that are interfering with our daily lives and causing suffering. We may be going through a major life transition and want some additional perspective and support. We may not feel as though there is something specifically wrong and yet still have a desire to explore our lives more deeply. There is no one right reason for entering therapy.
We will work together. While I am skilled in theory and technique, each person's path is unique. Together we will uncover underlying themes, tap into your strengths and chart a course that feels healthy and productive. Above all else, we will create an environment that is safe and supportive.
